Crappy quality, I thought my crappy home computer's Photoshop Elements could handle my vectorized image, I guess not.

Would have made/finished at school, but didn't have access to the BG color of the profile page from school.

Comments and critiques so far are welcome.

EDIT2: Back up. I personally think that I should have an actual background. What do you guys think?
Also, does the color for the background match up with NG? I've had some issues with it looking different in the past.

EDIT3: Also, I wish the dimensions were a bit bigger. I wanted the Mega Man to be larger, but if I did that, I'd have to cut the controller out of it, and that wouldn't do. Whoever programs this site, give us like, 2x more room for our pics.

Now since I'm in school again, I can work with Flash/Illustrator! Hooray for me!

UPDATE: Just got banned for 8 hours.

Unfortunately I can't use Flash/Illustrator, so I really can't work on my art anymore until school starts up again.

But when I get access back again, I promise to work on my art and possibly a flash.

I'll also have access to a semi-professional recording studio, so look forward to a flash with decent audio quality. :)

I haven't been working on my other flash characters, but I've managed to tweak Mr. Sun a little bit (by far he is my favorite character).

First of all I increased his overall size, so I had to make the stroke harder, so it will look a bit different from the original one.

Second of all I added a slight sunny glow to him, very subtle, but it adds a nice dimension to him that makes it a little nicer.

Well, actually that's it, how do you guys think it turned out? I think that maybe the yellow rays shouldn't go as far out, but I dunno.

The first leg of my journey... the creation of the characters!

So far I've finished Mr. Sun and worked on the rock and the bush characters (the trees will be difficult).

The quality of the rock and the bush aren't that good, I still have to apply my knowledge of gradients and curves to make them look nicer, plus the bush isn't even close to completion.

Any suggestions would be appreciated greatly! :D

Also, this screenshot will show the approximate location of the characters in the actual flash.

'mkay, this is probably going to be censored'd heavily, so just deal with it. :(

So, the basic outline of my fla sh is... very simple.

It's a group of friends... but with a twist! They're all plants and things in the forest :O!

So, the two "main" characters are the two trees, one of them is basically retarded, the other is cynical. There's also a grumpy rock character who is incredibly mean. And then... the love interest. A cute little bush that is the love interest of the two trees, pretty original, eh? Then we got the two main comic relief characters, the nearby river and the sun.

This project has little ani mation in it, it's basically just them speaking with a little action, but I will be using some semi-professional recording equipment, so it will be good voice quality, so it won't seem that bad.

As for what I've got done so far... well... here's the sun!

I shall destroy the Chinese government by any means necessary!

I shall figure out how to bypass all of these FIL-TERS that the Chinese have put on our voices!

I've finally decided to step into the flash community! It will be a difficult journey, but I'll make it!

Since I have a lot of resources that I haven't utilized yet, I'm going to use them in order to create a great first un-blammed flash!

I haven't truly used all of Adobe's excellent program in unison yet, only using the seperately for different needs. Now, I'm going to combine my love for Illustrator, Flash, and Photoshop in order to make my door-opener into the flash community.

I've also taken for granted a resource that a lot of flash artists would die to have. A literal team of voice actors at my school, which also has a semi-professional recording studio inside of it, how lucky am I?

Now, don't be expecting anything too soon, as I'm still learning and I'm a bit of a perfectionist.

I'm going to take my time and make sure it all looks good, who knows, maybe doing that will get me a spot on the front page (I doubt it).

And if anyone would like to have a 'sneak peak' or a little insight of my first project, it's basically going to be a short animation featuring myself (as a character, like my profile picture). Of course, it's going to be a series of comedic things and it's going to consist of fairly short shorts (I make short shorts, you make short shorts!).

So, I'm asking for advice from some of you flash veterans, any tips?
